Always find this real funny when people compare major sports and there athletes to this measly golf game.    The difference in what all you've said is easy Buggyy.   Those athletes had to prove how good they really are. And had to prove they didn't cheat in any way getting there.    Being under a microscope was something they all had to get use to.   Proving they didn't cheat.  Steroids, HGH, Drugs, Etc.    They had to prove they didn't cheat.   On here  players  don't have to prove nothing they can cheat all they want if they use software.  Heck one of the Top WGT player could even be the one who has created some of these programs.   We can all speculate all we want.  Bottom line is there have been many cheat programs out there in the past.  (All in which have been spotted and hopefully taken care of)   Who is  to say a new one hasn't been created.

I will say this I saw in completion the match between yourself and AB.  I will honest your 32 and his 33  didn't show what kind of good players you 2 really are.  But what it did show is while people were watching.  Your just as mediocre as the rest of us.   But shooting alone by yourself  your a lights out player .   Now I have  known you a long while.  I don't think your a cheat.   However that doesn't mean WGT and some of its top players are not cheating.   Donnie

    TDSLIMIT:

Some are so quick  to come and say there is no cheating going on from any of the top players here on WGT.   They like to point out where is the proof you have to say someone is a cheat.    I say this  where is the proof that these players don't cheat?  There was a post not to long ago by Icon on Jan 28th 2014.  Stating that WGT would like to show off some rounds via a Streaming process.    Even goes as far as to say this may be used for high $ ready gos in the future.

Players talk trash act like there all that.  Shot a measly 32 and 33  while players are watching a live streamed match.     And then want you to believe that they can shoot a 51 without someone watching in a tourney that has the hardest conditions possible.    I say make them prove it.    I for one have seen a half a dozen cheat programs out there.  Most of which are disabled since being spotted.     Now are we to believe that there are no new cheat softwares out there.  Ones  that nobody has heard about yet.    I mean heck  someone created the other half a dozen cheats that are out there.  Who is to say that another hasn't been created.   I mean for all we know a Top Player could be the one who is creating these cheat programs.   The ones who are smart enough to master this game. Are obviously smart enough to create a program right.

Again the emphasis is always on the accuser.   Well I saw 2 top players shoot 32/33 live with my own eyes.  Players who shoot 54/51 without anyone watching.  It got so bad that one of them called the other a cheat.  What?  a Top player called another a cheat.  Maybe they know something we all don't.   I say Make them Prove it.  Until then im entitled to my opinion.  And well 32/33  as apposed to 54/51.  shot by the same Top players.  Only difference was one game came while players were watching.  And the other low score games come with others Not watching.    I say make them prove it    Donnie

One of these two players has proved it.  Numerous times.  Visit his page, the evidence is there.  Jon aka buggyy http://www.wgt.com/members/buggyyy/default.aspx

I've played rounds with Jon a few times and honestly, most of the time he played average but when he is feeling good and playing well I could very easily see how he puts up great scores.

I've play with fmags...  He hits it to within 4-12ft (just like I do) on nearly every hole but instead of making 50% of his first putts, he makes over 60%.   He even hit the water (gasp!) once at Congressional.  His "cheat" programs must have misfired that time I guess.

Sebicu had 9 Ready Go rounds posted to his score history today.  He had 16 (lmao) posted rounds the previous day.  The guy clearly "wants it" and has put in the work. Perhaps he wants it too much but who am I to judge? 25 rounds in two days shows that he puts in the work.  I've posted 15 rounds in the past FOUR DAYS.

Must be that time of the month again.

Not one decent player has bothered waste their time responding here.  I can fully understand that.

Just sorry I wasted time reading some of it.

Must go for a run now to clear my head.  Best thing ever for getting rid of VEM :)

Well, hell hasn't frozen over yet- huge surprise. Don't hold your breath anticipating Dan will ever find this thread.

I do not know the man, just admire his accomplishments from afar. Anyone who thinks there are 'secrets' he can share should just read the article on Golf Channel website.

    Secrets:

    1) Play every hole of the course you are trying to go low on in a top tourney over and over and over again. Countless times. If Unltd. tourney, play the tourney. if single play, use practice mode.

    2) Take copious notes; every bounce, every break, where the str8 putts live, how long or short an approach plays. How the wind is 'weak' or 'strong'. Where the putting dots "lie". Which putts to hit softer, which to ram home. And on and on.

    3) After you are prepared, fill your veins with ice water. Meditate or do whatever gets you "in the zone" - Be completely confident that your preparation will pay dividends. MANTRA; I GOT THIS

    4) Use your peripheral vision and trust it- do NOT stare at the ding line (or off ding location you wish to hit) EXECUTE

    5) When the inevitable happens, a WTF moment, a slight mis-hit, a miscalculation whether VEM or otherwise, do not let it take away from your determination to eke out the best result from the next shot. You can make birdie from anywhere- you have done it countless times. Sometimes you don't. Holeouts are still out there. Remain positive. Sometimes you fall short. That's life. Carry on...

The above assumes you know your club/ball combo(s) cold. Exactly. You know how to calculate wind, putting, all the basics to the highest level are indelibly in your genetic makeup. You have countless combos of spin/%hit/club selection to determine the perfect shot for the conditions. You know when to ding and when to off-ding. You have made the same putt so many times you could do it with your eyes closed because you missed it enough times to figure out what doesn't work.

    Then do the above.

Paul: people like you come on these forums...

    There is no-one like me.

My point was that after I bought this new equipment I suddenly improved but was still the same person with the 23% 1 putt  stat.

That is quite obvious, it hardly merited  a post.

If you don't have anything that has to do with the OP's orginal post then why don't you STFU !.

When you moderate this forum silencing me will be your prerogative until then I'll post whatever I like thanks.

Do you think that the game (WGT) forces you to claw your way up the ladder( buying better equipment and balls) and then rewards you with Low Scores"

The game does not force you to do anything but if you want to be the best then the best equipment will be required

Do you think you can do that with out making a smart a-- remark.

    Not a chance, sweetness.

let me try at keep this at your level.

     You'll need a ladder.

Do you think that WGT lets certain players become the best of the best?

Anyone can become the best with enough skill and determination to succeed in the game.

So that people that are not that good like you will go out and continue to try and claw their way up that ladder? Buying better clubs and balls to get to that level??

That is a completely free choice people make.

    You understand?

    Yes, thanks for asking.

Like oh look dansamcam has a 100+ level covert driver so if I get up to that level I need one to be that good.

    No, not at all.

Or the very best balls because he uses them and I have to have them to shoot as good as him

    Again, just not true

Hope that is simple enough for you.

You posted it, therefore it's simple.

Don't want to twist anything for you.

    But you went ahead anyway.

I am just asking for your opinion.

    See above.

    What do you think?

    Cogito Ergo Sum

    Happy hitting.

Paul, excellent post, well done; however, as regards cogito ergo sum, Antonio Damasio explains why Descartes was wrong in this book, a most interesting read:

The first statement is probably true.

The second one is definitely true.
