the more time i spend playing here it seems that i more often have to finish  3 or 4 player games by myself,. should i bother? is there any reason to count all my games or im being naive? should i quit if i dont like my score ? just wondering if playing it straight is worthwhile, or should i just go back to poker.

i realize the reputation choice doesnt work,  it would be great if it did in my opinion

Be true to yourself !! I believe if you start a game finish it - win or lose. It`s especially bad in alternate shot games. Seen too many ppl quit if they are not winning. you can`t win them all. have fun out there !!

If you're playing stroke play foresomes as ranked rounds, you may as well play single and know you will finish and not be disturbed by the usual quitters. Plus you can play at your own pace instead of hitting one shot every 5 minutes and get the round played in a decent amout of time.

This is why I start salivating when I see a yellow or orange spot.  Usually means they won't shoot their average and which, by the transitive property of multiplication, means easy credits.  :)

    just sayin'....

For me, there's no moral reason to finish a single player game. The player is his only judge.

From a gaming POV, these are some items to consider:

    - a bad game may have a temporary impact on the average but no negative impact on tiering up,

    - a bad game finished provides experience at the last holes, XPs, and an inner support not to have given up too soon,

    - consider the time it takes to finish.

For the last man standing in a multiplayer game, add the completion %% as a further item. AFAIK, it will be counted in regardless.

Building up a good friends list and joining a good country club will go a long way in alleviating your problems. If you have lots of green lights showing and play with those people you won't get quitters.

    Good advice.

BUT what used to irk me, is why does the finishing player not get the full XP's they would get if the other players had finished.

That would at least give a player the incentive to finish.
