Question on meter speed

  I have a driver with a 3.0 meter speed....  I have a ball with a 2.0 meter speed.

  What is my actual club speed?   What dictates actual meter speed?  Clubs or balls or an average of the two.

  2.5 what? Dots? Milliseconds? They're just references for you to know. I suppose you could use them in some numerical fashion but unless all of your meter speeds are the same for all of your clubs it could turn into an exercise in frustration.

  That would be the logical assumption if you looked at it mathematically but when dots were around you wouldn't think 1/4 dots when you had a 2 dot ball and a 2.5 dot club.

  The ball I play has a meter speed rating of 3.5, and the ball apparently sets the meter speed base.

  My driver and wedges have the same rating - 3.5, and deliver the slowest meter speed I get

  My 3-wood has a rating of 3.0, and I get a slightly faster meter speed than my driver/wedges deliver.

  My irons have a rating of 2.5, and a slightly faster meter speed than the 3-wood.
