I was asked for the link to Davester's website (for the purpose of getting the link to Bilko's calculator), and when I went to it, I found that it is no longer available (has been deleted/removed). Since the new T&C came out, and I vaguely remember something about "outside" programs, I was wondering if WGT still allows Bilko's Putting and Wind/Distance calculators. I have a video showing how to DL the W/D calculator and want to make sure I am not breaking any rules. If Icon, Shoe, or another admin/moderator could answer this, I'd appreciate it. If it's not allowed, I'll remove the video. As of now, it's been set to private, until I get an answer. Thanks.

P.S. I don't use either. I tried the wind/dist. one and just not my thing. I play guess/hope/pray golf. I would like some kind of guide as to crosswinds, though, as I have trouble gauging the correct amount of distance in moving the flag/marker. I've also found that the 1yd for every 3ft doesn't work at all (at least not for me). Maybe, I'm using the final number wrong (ex...200 to pin, 24ft down would equal 192 yards. If I hit to 192, I'm never even close. I do know "about" what my clubs do with spin and no spin, too. I use the 85 Nike's and 48 Nike ball, also (best combo I've found). Any help would be appreciated very much.

    Jay

I was never aware there was a problem with SgtBilko's calculator. It's still available.

DaddysKat has been working on some aids, too. They've been discussed here and shared so I'm guessing there's nothing afoul of the law going on with either of them.  :-)

As far as I know it is still legal because all it is is a calculator. It is not an auto clicker and therefore not a cheat program. Many of us still use it.

But there is another one that is as good or even better. Just read the birthday celebration thread and ask Kat for the link to her calculator. It even figures in the amount you have to allow for cross winds.

LOL. OK, G, keep believing that but don't let's make this about cheating. The OP is looking for legitimate helpers.  :-D

I know Jim, but it's like beating a dead horse. Google it ( the auto clicker thing ) see what you come up with a big fat goose egg.

But on the thread note, these are great tools and take a lot of knowledge to program them, but they will not perform the same for everyone.

What works for one guy may not work for the next.
