    Hi all! I have had several instances now where i have been in 'light brush' 30-40 percent or 60-70 percent (not light fescue or deep fescue, for i can get out of that). lets say i'm in the 'light brush' 30-40 percent around the green about 10 yards to the pin; does anyone have a solution on how to handle this shot? for i have hit, lets say a full swing LW and the ball just remains stuck, and have tried the pitch shot at full meter, i just can't seem to get out of it in 1 shot. thank you all for this message. brad

    Treat it like 40-50 and punch out. Any time you see a lie with  "deep" or "light" take it as a warning that the shot does not play like the % it says, it's worse. Punches will generally get you out of anything but make sure you aim to a safe place.  :-)

    A lot of new players and even some not so new ones think that the percentage shown is the amount you have to hit it harder. What the percentage refers to is the amount of ball that is covered, so 30% in sand is different to 30% in rough, brush or mulch, they are all different.

    The words 'light' and 'deep' are misnomers in WGT;

    'light' = Stuck like shi**

    'deep' = attached to earth with superglue

    @vajda:

    As a level 93 Tour Pro at the brink of Master tier, you might want to consider to exchange your Starter equipment by some better clubs. Regarding your subject, two (eventually three) custom wedges would be of enormous value for you. The lvl 41 Pings (60, 75 yds) are good considering the price, but for a "buy once" decision I'd propose the high level Clevelands (60, 80, later 100 yds).

    Then, think about quality clubs (R11, G20...) and balls (e.g. Tour-SD as a starter). These will be a good investment into more fun!
