How much interest is there for a speed golf category? 15 second time clock on all shots on random courses, or adjust it to whoever sets up the challenge. Not enough time for calculators, time-outs from people checking their cheat sheets, written notes, just Fast and Furious Golf on a wing and a prayer.

That'd be like playing real golf and not reading the greens, adjusting for wind, etc...but if it's enjoyable for you...

Actually .... back in the day when we only had Kia and BP ... one of the favorite games of the boys in our C Club was called "Beat the Meter".   Played it with some of the better players in the game --- ask Bollox and Icon .. they will both tell you it made them much better players.

The object was .. to shoot within 10 seconds and use whatever parameters the game gave you.

Couldn't change shots or clubs, couldn't move the arrow to adjust for wind, couldn't change meter lengths on putts, etc. etc.  Nothing .. just pull back and shoot missing left or right to adjust for where you wanted to hit the ball.

I'd say we played it from July of 2009 until St Andrews came out early 2010 ... every night.

And MBag .. i'll tell you .. it was some of the most fun games I ever played ..

Unfortunately that habit carried over .. i still play that way most of the time :)

I'd prefer to cover my genitals with honey, stick them in a beehive and then hit the beehive with a stick!

    No THANKS!

    LMAO

Whack it and chase, zero skill.  How ridiculous IMO.  Each to their own.
