Hi all,

I'd like to gift something to my son as he takes wgt much more seriously than I do. However the option doesn't exist for me to gift when I click on a club/ball to purchase. I am a starter , level 10, and he is level 80 something.

That's the problem. You can't gift an item higher than your current Level. If you are Level 10, you can only gift Level 10 or lower items.

Hi Cerino, thanks for reply.

I understand the rue you cite but i want to give a level 1 product and the gift option doesnt appear .

Any ideas why this is so ?

Not AFAIK. Only the receiver's level must comply. I rather think that the spender misses a promotion or two.

I ran into this a few months ago and per one of the WGT responders (sorry don't recall who answered) to my question a new/recent guidline had been put into place. A player has to be in the" amateur" tier or" above" to be able to even have the option of gifting, along with the other advice given by the recent replys.

You might want to verify this with WGT support just in case it has changed since, approx. 3-4 months ago.
