    Hello Everyone,

Let me start by saying I am very close to the Tour Legend Tier.  What I struggle with is, what then?  My best score ever was in a club tourney a 57 with low winds and tourney greens with easy pin position.   I see all these guys shooting under 55 and at 65 with slow reflexes know I am more than likely topped out.

I am not a man that would allow himself to start again and take what I have learned to beat some unsuspecting soul out of anything.  So tell me what have I got to look forward to other than getting my brain beat in on every tourney I enter?

    Thanks

    Cbb

There is no obligation to play TL tier events. There is plenty of other stuff to compete in. CTTH, Uneven Lies, non-tier-specific RGs or tourneys, CC events.....

Where I see you as 'being topped out' and all, is that you have reached your maximum potential to how you like to proceed through this game. You like the challenges put forth with moderate gains to your own self improvements. You have the option to continue your modest pursuit in gaining experience along with the good friendships you have solidified here.

Your reflexes along with all of us is easily monitored within ourselves and is adjusted accordingly; we all have our reaction times and thus have resources at our disposal to accommodate...I seem to like the faster meter speeds; we all have our thing

Along with what fmagnet has said, you can challenge yourself in your own private way. The prize is not the credits or rewards, but the fun we have as a collection of golfaholics passing the time along with what our own individual lives take us to. Golf is fun, in it's simple form. I know the level of devotion I have to the game but all the much more to those that are in my life.

The bottom line is this, enjoy 'the game' and the rewards is not in the achievements for these things are just that, things, but enjoy each other;  this is where love is harboured  through our interaction as well as the insight to our play.

The putts are less than 10% faster. When you look at it that way there's not much difference between the tiers. I don't consider myself to be any good at this game but I still enjoy it as much as I did in the Legend tier.

The only real difference between a Legend and a TL is that the TL has seen the shots more. Once you master the new green speed, and it's not all that different, you'll be right where you need to be.

As for what feels that need, I don't know that winning tournaments was your top priority in playing here in the first place. I know you have a lot to share with others and that TL status lends a nice piece of credibility to the mix. You earned it, enjoy it.

And no playing the old man card, that doesn't fly here. Too many old geezers around more than willing to say pffft to that.  LOL   ;-)

    Thanks guys,

I will do my best and hope to have some fun.  I have always been competitive,  good at a lot of things never really good at any.  I will be the first ol fart TL with an 80 avg. but still trying to have fun.

    thanks

The putts are faster "downhill", I find them the same as legends greens 99% of the time and use the same formula as I did on legend greens...

It does! That's why we had to sell our Kilts, and the divorce rate is so low!

I want to wear a T-shirt at the bar that says "Tour Legend" and see how much trim follows me out of the bar.
