Bottom line, this game ain't been the same for a long time now. I'm coming up on three years shortly, and have invested a signifigant amount to play, so here's my take on it. WGT releases new equipment for big bucks, scores drop, people complain, WGT degrades equipment performance ( one way or another YJ :) , time goes by, and the cycle is repeated. New players don't see it, mid levels don't care, oldsters got no say and no future. Play AS, enjoy your friends, curse the idiots that are ruining a good thing.

    Doc :(

When will mine start to degrade? 5 years playing and I'm still waiting. Beginning to think WGT is ripping me off by not degrading MY stuff.

The silly season of complaints need to end.

    The "game" plays fine.

I've made it a habit to always pull the flag inside 100 yards since reading about this sort of thing a year or more ago. I thought at the time it was standard practice among veterans.

Funny thing about that. Hitting the pin was an occasional thing here until Tiger Woods hit that pin in the Masters last year. Ever since then they have been a lot more than occasional. :-D

Yep, I've now made it part of my pre-shot routine on ALL approach shots,

    1. Calculate distance
    2. Set aim
    3. Pull pin
    4. Select club
    5. Select spin
    6. Repeat / check 1 - 5
    7. Play shot

    1) Zoom  IN
    2) Set     AIM      (L or R)  usually where you think the ball will bounce
    3) Zoom OUT
    4)  Do the Math adding and subtracting conditions
    5) when you reach that magic total #   find it on the Meter
    6) you may wanna hit as much as 1/4 inch off (L or R) of the DINGER !!!
    7) LET IT FLY !!!!     WARNING !!!!!      any mishit will be duly noted and shown
        ENJOY  !!!
