  Many times I've been playing with people in my friend list but didn't know.  Could you make the peoples names in your friend list a different color or put a symbol by their name to make it obvious I'm playing with a friend?

  Fair point, but with only 25 friends I would have thought you would know who they are.

  When you're playing with other people, anyone not on your friends list will have a green plus symbol next to their name, apart from when they're taking a shot if I remember right. Clicking on the symbol will send a friend request.

  If you don't see this symbol, they're already on your friends list.
