    What's the deal with receiving credit rewards and some sort of virtual trophy for playing in that 1rst Tourney.  It's listed as closed and even has amounts received for each placement, but no where are the reflected in my stats or awards.   Might this be about that flag issue and me not giving my personal info out?   If so I can understand that being the case after proper notice was given, but to have members sign up and compete then you retroactively disqualify them because they won't give sensitive personal info is nothing more than another scam similar to your ad and survey sponsors are who experts on scams, and spams.

    Check "account". You should see 59 (59 credits) awarded, unless you are in a country or state that doesn't allow it or was prohibited from entering/playing/winning. Not sure how all of that works. I haven't sent any verification in, and don't plan to. Then again, I don't see me ever winning enough to "cash out". Not a pessimist, just a realist. I just ain't no good at this game (except for my new "putting technique").

    TY for trying to help me in this matter, but I checked before posting, and that's why I inquired in the 1rst place.  Surely this is about the flag thing and verification, but to the best of my knowledge, that Tourney was before any announcement of that requirement.  Looks to be just another WGT sponsor shill to get free advertisement, and If so Dicks just lost my business.  I usually do business with PGA pros anyway, who are more interested in the clients improvement than their bottom line. It's amazing that through all the offers we do, we're always reminded to be honest and thoughtful.  A long time ago I was taught to practice what I preach, but that's just me and my upbringing.

    Unscrupulous business practices are just that, unscrupulous.

    BTW- congrats on your new found putting touch, you'll start seeing those scores coming down as a result I'm sure.

    I was under the impression that that verification thing was for actual prizes, not credits in tournaments.

    * lightbulb*  emoticon

      In the 2nd Dick's  challenge at Merion, players who completed rounds as I did were given a free ball.  If my old forgetful mind serves me well in this matter, nothing, natta, was given in the BPB Tourney, just the promise of credit rewards and our usual virtual trophy's. IMO just another little deceitful move so when we finish that 1 also, we won't receive our due, until we give sensitive personal info.  I played as well as I possibly could in both, and feel as if I've been lied to about my rewards. In the 2nd I was aware of the new requirements implemented, but like I previously stated the BPB Challenge was before they were looking for a way to compromise our personal information security.

    You're contradicting yourself. You haven't given this information but did receive a free ball? Doesn't fit with what you're claiming.

    You very well be right Jim, but for whatever reason my credits aren't listed on my account page, and I've yet to see a virtual trophy.  It's not about $0.59 and a phony trophy, but about  Dick's and WGT,  doing what we're asked to do, and that's being honest.  One would think that it shouldn't be as hard as some of the quick downhiller's at Merion, it should be done automatically in the name of honesty and fairness, as any legit business would do.

    Sounds like a Customer Service route. They always fix it.

    On that verification thing............

    " To participate in certain Competitions where the winner obtains a physical or tangible prize, you may be required to submit to WGT documentation to verify your eligibility and to verify your age and/or residency and, if the physical or tangible prizes you have obtained in a given year have a value over $600, a completed W-9 tax form."

    You're talking virtual stuff-hit CS up.  :-)

    My understanding was that  the free ball was offered, not as a prize, but as an incentive as far I understood, somewhat of a promotional tool.  The credit rewards were offered for performance and placement, which I feel i fared decently at, and was cheated out of.  In all due respect to a veteran quality player / person like you, I don't see the contradiction, but do see your point.  It's obviously out of the particpants hands and into the sponsors and this sites hands.
