    Hi everyone!

I think I should get the level 83 G20's cos they seem to be more value for money than the Forged Irons.

I know this is very subjective, but I would like some advice. My level 59 G20's just don't seem to be working for me any more.

I like the fact that the range for the level 83 G20's is 215 to 110.

Oh yah, the irons I have are on the left and the other two I'm thinking of getting are on the right.

    Hey Mif,

Out of those above, the Nikes are superior without any doubt at all but you are also nearing L90 and the R11's and If you will be able to handle the faster meter of the R11's then wait and get those rather.

If you need a slower meter then the L85 Nikes are the best of the rest imo.

I'd go for the Nikes. There might be a free rental weekend soon if you want to try them all.

Miffy, I played with the G20(83) for quite a while. Rented the Nike's over Christmas, thought they were a little more precise but couldn't justify another 3,000 credits to move up. Was then gifted an SLDR Driver by WGT over Christmas so said what the heck and purchased them.

Either set is a good upgrade over the level 59. But comparing the two, if you spend the extra 305 credits for the Nike's you get an extra .5 precision, .5 spin.

If you do get the Nike's feel free to message me, I can send you what I have for a distance chart for them.

Get to L90 ASAP, and lets hope they then have a free rental.  If you want the best scoring potential going for or otherwise it's L90 R11s all day from the tips at any rate, but the meter is too quick for a few.  If I was OK with it sure you will be but only you can decide.

All that said there is no rush.  Come the free rental (hopefully soon) try them all, but give yourself long approaches to get a feel for what is to come at Legend which is where you are now looking.  What you have is fine until you hit the tips.  Of course they could replace the R11s next down time.  Whether that is good or bad is guess work, but knowing what I know now I would say wait until you are Legend before actually buying..

Your current irons are good, and hoe they do start performing for you again soon.  Hopefully just a little down turn in form that even the best suffer from now and then:)

I think that the slower meter and higher trajectory make the lower level nikes a better choice than R-11's. I loved the R-11's  but found them a tad fast and a bit iffy if you miss 'ding'  (or your chosen strike spot on meter).

If I was in Miffy's shoes I'd go for the Nikes.

Like Miffy I used the L59 G20's before I got the L83 G20's. I based my decision mostly on meter speed. Now that the Nike ones are available with the same meter as the G20's but a little better attributes, IMO that's what she should invest in. The R11's are better as far as attributes but at this point it might be too big a change in meter speed. It seems a lot of folks who have the top level R11's also used the lower and middle class ones on the way. They've already been accustomed to the faster meter speed. One other point about the G20's and these new Nike irons, they don't require the most expensive GB's to slow the meter to an acceptable level. I don't have any problems playing the G20's with the free ball.

I have both the R11's and the G20's. I rented those Nikes last free rental weekend. If i could afford them, i would buy them. I actually liked them more than my R11's. And you can play a cheaper ball with the slower meter.
