I am sure I am going to get nothing but complaints and "move along, were just going to ignore you anyways", but the prices for credits, based on what you can get is insanely overpriced.

At the price of equipment, and the cost of credits, I'd be better off buying a PGA PC or console game and adding a game pack upgrade from time to time.

    $50 for 5000 credits, that's a good driver and a good putter

now, if the credits were $50 for 50,000 credits, I'd be more apt to spend some credits from time to time.

A lot of people don't buy credits at all. Offers, videos and surveys can earn you enough to play.

    Yes, I see that.

I guess the point I a tying to make is that the model is outdated compared to other F2P games.

The surveys are, for lack of a better word, joke.

For me to even get credits from a survey, I have to be tee CIO of a multinational corporation that is in charge of all computer and tech related decisions, from a 3rd world country with 18 children.

To be able to get 2000 credits for a god driver, I would have to take 8 120 surveys,. Since you only get 2-3 a day, and add to that the chance that you meet that survey's requirements, it's insane.

F2P is supposed to be generated by need and ego, not, "how many surveys can I take today".

People want to spend money to get batter and have fun.

Most people don't mind spending $20-$30/mo to upgrade etc. but $50 for 5000 credits tht gets you one thing?

Where are the package deals, the credit bulk deals.

    It's juts not worth it.

They definitely need a F2P model review.

Another way is watch videos, I got about 400 just from the "Sabatoge" or "Let's Be Cops" videos alone this past week (too bad they are gone), and 14-30 a day from Radium One/Health Guru. Another thing is the Live Gamer videos, do those during play, and you get 7 views easy a day to get to 100 views for 75 credits + any 5 view offers (though those are little as of late).

I would pay 20,000 credits for God's driver, hell I wouldn't need any other clubs.

This part always seemed insane to me, considering 3/4 of their accounts never spend a nicle or take surveys, or ever upgrade their equiptment, the percentage of people cracking their credit card is low, and the rest able to fiddle diddle their way to free credits, one would think they would make it more appealing to buy credits.

Have they ever offerred 2 for 1 deals for credit purchase, maybe but not what i can recall, I recall once a free ball thats all.

But i suppose if they offer a $40 driver and 10,000 people buy 1, they believe it to be a success, but considering 9500 of them never spent a nickle doing so. personally if they did as you suggest they might sell a million of them, but they have their reasons, they are the experts I guess.

Yep you can play for free, but it seems silly to make playing for free not only appealing, but necessary. I'm sure there are oodles of legit start ups that roll in, play for a little while then move on, why, because one would start to look around and see it would cost you hundreds of dollars to continue to play to the point of getting the hang of it, and upon further inspection you would see it to be a constant slow bleed.

I know there a plenty of times I get low on credits, but just cannot bring myself to crack the credit card anymore, it's almost like if a can of coke cost $10, I would just drink water, so i just change my play for a while till i can build up a little kitty again. But i'm not new, I can only imagine the true newbie and what they see.

Makes no sense, but little does, so it's typical.

    Steve2golf:

    You make another valid point.

What if 75% of players spent $5/mo if it meant upgrading to the newest set of irons, or a new driver.

with 5 million registered users, let say 50% play regularly, that's $9.375 mil/month

    right now I can't see more than 5% paying $20/mo, that makes $2.5 mil/mo

    That's almost 4X the income.

It's a no brainer, and a lot more people will be happier and playing more often

So I decided to get some credits from the surveys, and lo and behold, virus/malicious software.

    REALLY?
