DarthStormagedon: now, if the credits were $50 for 50,000 credits, I'd be more apt to spend some credits from time to time.
This part always seemed insane to me, considering 3/4 of their accounts never spend a nicle or take surveys, or ever upgrade their equiptment, the percentage of people cracking their credit card is low, and the rest able to fiddle diddle their way to free credits, one would think they would make it more appealing to buy credits.
Have they ever offerred 2 for 1 deals for credit purchase, maybe but not what i can recall, I recall once a free ball thats all.
But i suppose if they offer a $40 driver and 10,000 people buy 1, they believe it to be a success, but considering 9500 of them never spent a nickle doing so. personally if they did as you suggest they might sell a million of them, but they have their reasons, they are the experts I guess.
Yep you can play for free, but it seems silly to make playing for free not only appealing, but necessary. I'm sure there are oodles of legit start ups that roll in, play for a little while then move on, why, because one would start to look around and see it would cost you hundreds of dollars to continue to play to the point of getting the hang of it, and upon further inspection you would see it to be a constant slow bleed.
I know there a plenty of times I get low on credits, but just cannot bring myself to crack the credit card anymore, it's almost like if a can of coke cost $10, I would just drink water, so i just change my play for a while till i can build up a little kitty again. But i'm not new, I can only imagine the true newbie and what they see.
Makes no sense, but little does, so it's typical.
