I agree completely. The 8-iron doesn't want to hit less than about 148 and the 9-iron doesn't want to go over 140.
Agree. You know you are going for a tough round, when you have several of these distance!

I have a simular problem, but with the 160-170 yrd range... very annoying

Mine is the R11 8 iron, 150 full shot. It might go 150, usually 155, sometimes 160. Back off 5 yards, and it can go 135 lol. I hate that club :-)
