Thanks for the advice on taking it to WGT customer service, but I used to do that abut issues. NEVER got a straight answer to any question. Not even a "sorry, bu that is just the way the system works". No it was always smoe canned "pat" response, like, "that's normal variance". for example, they inform a player, that if they hit a proper iron, on the correct line, and strike the ball via the meter (our mechanism for perfect swing or flawed), and you hit what the screen says is the "excellent" swing- right on the dinger - and (in this case a 5 iron) it yank pulls 40 feet left of your chosen line into deep rough - the answer as to why a correct line, correct club, best possible swing resulted in disaster was - "normal variance" - LOL. Ask any REAL golfer - this referenced variance only comes from a glitch, hitch, mistrike, chunk, fat, or other swing error - some mechanism of the golfer failing. The program here should reward perfection when we are able to manage it. Not "normal variance" excuse the nuisance. After months of experimenting, I found that if you play a cross wind, aim off the line of your intended target (it's always ONLY when that target is the pin, does not occur if it is an aim in a fariway), and hit the ding line, if you are aimed within 30 feet of the pin - left or right - the shot will start directly at the pin. Does not matter if you aimed 25 left or right of the pin from 160yds. IF you hit the excellent line on the meter, the "program" seems to KNOW somehow - mystically, where the pin is (meaning in terms of an inanimate ball and club), and the shot will start dead on a line for the pin, and then be turned away by the wind. In reality, all the club and ball know is NOTHING. And whatever line a human picks, swings perfectly and strikes a ball, THAT is the line the ball should BEGIN on. Then the distance and wind are the only factors to determine its landing spot. Not with WGT. Now if you miss the exc meter line just the slightest, you then get the truest line based on that slight pull or push, and the wind and distance take their rightful place in having a dynamic impact on the shot. It is only the EXC. ding shot that gets this "normal variance" b.s. from WGT. I began writing to WGT early because I thought they would want to hear from us, get their glitches worked out and become the best freaking golf site on the planet. They have great graphics, and good game selections. But they have not once given me an honest and professional answer to any inquiry I have made. CHECK this out - they told me to go the player forums for answers to questions, so I never went back to them again - and won't, until they are under new management that actually cares about improving their site. Thanks for responding, but I have had no luck with them. If you read my past inquiries (cooler head - helpful intent toward WGT style) and then read their replies, you would say.."really?" LOL... thanks again, have fun
