    mrcaddie:

My plan is similar to my "12 Days of Christmas" events, only this time, in July, I'll be hosting an event that will consist of 31 consecutive days of gift giving, or as I like to call them...random acts of kindness, something Rich was fond of doing.

Very nice gesture MC, very much in the spirit of our lost friend.

I'd just like to inject a small amount of restraint into this thread if I may.   Obviously emotions are running pretty high at times and people have very strong feelings about what has happened.

Please let's not let those emotions get the better of us though and turn this thread ugly.  I think we need to bear in mind that Icon may well not have the authority to create a special tournament at will, that decision might have to come from someone higher up, someone who maybe hasn't even been informed about what's happened yet.

Don't get me wrong, I also think some sort of response from WGT is well due by now.  Let's just give it a little more time before we grab the pitchforks and burning torches.

**snuffs out my torch and hides pitchfork behind my back**

    Ahem...

Let me start by saying Icon has ALWAYS been uber responsive when corresponding with me ('course that is usually him telling me to take something obscene or pornographic off my profile  LOL), so if he hasn't responded, then I have to believe that there is a valid reason for it.  (also, anyone that wants to call me a WGT kiss up can take a guess as to what part of my anatomy they can kiss!).

Secondly, I sincerely hope y'all dedicate as much time & effort (not to mention credits) towards both MC's "Random Acts of Kindness" and TBEs/JCGFREEs proposed memorial tourneys.

Lastly, I'd like to "respectfully" ask the truly wonderful and caring people at WGT, WHERE THE H*E*LL IS THAT FREAKIN' FEMALE NIKE AVATAR, YOU SEXIST OINKERS???

    LOLOL

To be fair to Wgt.... There has been quite a few Wgt Players who have sadly passed away in the past and Wgt has not had any Memorial Comps for them (as far as I remember)

    overtheedge:
Dont get me wrong. LC was a very nice guy. I had the pleasure of playing with him sometime back. I think it is a very cool, and caring idea for the "WGT community" to host a Memorial tournament but I think to expect  "WGT"  to host a tournament for one of our lost community members is putting WGT in a very  awkward position.

Exactly what I was trying to say -  I'm sure every C Club has had tragedies (God knows the members of our club have had gone through some heartbreaking ones), and the though of Rich's friends hosting something for "the community" is more than appropriate.   But I have to agree with Edge (wow this may be the 1st time) ... it puts WGT in a very awkward position if hosting a tournament --- or for that matter even a public response is expected.

I know Icon, Shoe and the others job is to moderate the forums, work with and help the community .. but to expect them or MrWGT, the president of the company, to personally respond to every tragedy is a bit much.

Again - just my thoughts ... no disrespect intend to Rich and I clearly believe you folks doing something are on the right track.

Sorry mate but that's crap. Who puts the food on their f*cking table?

Pixel balls that cost f*ck all ...WGT sell for $6 a sleeve...............you're having a f*cking laugh!

Chad's no better a person than you or I. This community put WGT where it is today ....nothing more ....nothing less.  It's us who puts money in their pockets....not the f*cking advertisers.

He wouldn't be where he is today without the likes of you and I.

If it wasn't for the ordinary guy on the street....................Chad would still be sucking plumbs.

Take it any way you like ...what I say is the truth.

WGT without this community would have been dead a long time ago.....and that my friend is fact !!!

Get off your A-R-S-E Chad Nelson and give LegendCrsusher the credit he's due.

Don't be too high and f*cking mighty!

Where the f*ck is WGT in this thread?

Without the community..................WGT would die a death!.....no question of that. FACT

    You know what???

Go ahead and f*cking ban me for life. I couldn't give a flying f*ck.....good riddance!

No WGT input to date........that's the lowest of the low.

    As they say in Scotland

GO  F-U-C-K yourself....cause I will not be back.

Take Pinehurst and ram it up your shitter!

I'm done with this f-ucking game!

You're a dirty low down bunch or f*ckwits and I'l take great pleasure in DDOS'ing the brains out of this game ya heartless bunch of c*nts.

    thebigeasy707:
C'mon man :).....this thread's not about ripping into WGT. It's meant to be about the community and wgt standing as one and trying to set up a comp in LC's name as a memorial.

    alcaucin:
Ironically this is not the Forum to say that..start another thread ?

pfft.. bunch of double standard hypocrites

May a suggest a "Community wide Memorial Tournament". If anything, once a year we as a community come together to host a WGT Community Members Memorial Golf Tournament. This will include all of our lost friends who throughout the year pass away. This way know one individual is left out.

    Great Idea
