but to expect them or MrWGT, the president of the company, to personally respond to every tragedy is a bit much.

Sorry mate but that's crap. Who puts the food on their f*cking table?

Pixel balls that cost f*ck all ...WGT sell for $6 a sleeve...............you're having a f*cking laugh!

Chad's no better a person than you or I. This community put WGT where it is today ....nothing more ....nothing less.  It's us who puts money in their pockets....not the f*cking advertisers.

    etc. etc. etc.

I really do understand TBE's frustration.  I was just trying to point out - with the size of the "WGT Community" ... it's a good bet someone is passing away every week.   That's why, I personally, believe it should be left to the persons friends to memorialize someone.   That's what social media is all about .. right ?

By the way .. does anyone have the Obituary with the details ?   With the outpouring of respect for Rich - I'm thinking some of us may want to send a sympathy card or something of the sort.  I'd look but I don't even know his last name.

    Thanks,

I think the bottom line these post are trying to make is this. Rich was a great guy, did much to promote WGT, gave his all to help up and coming WGT players, and not a *** ty from Chad and his cronies.

When I die, I don't want a send off that Rich deserves, for Christ's sakes belly up to the bar WGT, get the dollar signs off you brains!

I have one go to guy on WGT, and he acknowledged his sympathy, will not mention names, he knows it.

Wow, this total lack of response from WGT is total ***!

Maybe one day Chad will realize what Brothers and Sisters are!

Maybe need to send the CWA to San Francisco!

You just don't get the point Rich was special and promoted WGT, as much as the top cats!

I'm not sure if Chad is still around.

Lets all settle down and realx shall we....   this is not the post to have a huge argument with each other.  If ya's want to that.... there are a Million other posts to do it....lol

We have a close knit family within Wgt... believe or not....   not everybody's cup of tea, but a dedication to Rich and all the people in Wgt who has sadly passed away.

I just noticed this is a memorial thread so jokes are probably not in good taste. Apologies to those who read it and may have been offended.

To be fair to Wgt.... There has been quite a few Wgt Players who have sadly passed away in the past and Wgt has not had any Memorial Comps for them (as far as I remember)

If they do have a memorial comp for Rich,  then others might think, what about the others.... that type of thing.

Very good point Rodger. As a matter of fact The Elite CC just lost a very dear friend and fellow member - FlyinHighAgain / Chris.

Chris was a super gentleman and a very good friend to many WGT comm.members. My condolences to all the family's of the WGT comm who have lost loved ones, but I do have to agree with Rodger.

Dont get me wrong. LG was a very nice guy. I had the pleasure of playing with him sometime back. I think it is a very cool, and caring idea for the "WGT community" to host a Memorial tournament but I think to expect  "WGT"  to host a tournament for one of our lost community members is putting WGT in a very  awkward position.

May a suggest a "Community wide Memorial Tournament". If anything, once a year we as a community come together to host a WGT Community Members Memorial Golf Tournament. This will include all of our lost friends who throughout the year pass away. This way know one individual is left out.

Thank you for your time and God Bless all the family's and friends who have lost loved ones throughout the year.

Well said, as I was reading this thread I was thinking the same thing.  I'm pretty sure if you were to get a response from WGT it would be something along these lines...though perhaps more ambiguity and less sensitivity.

MGB - I really don't want to argue .. but I do get it.    Rich was special to the folks who knew him and played with him, etc.etc.   But not to everyone.   If WGT singles out Rich then they will be expected to single out everyone who passes away.   And if they miss someone they are "dicks".       With the number of people on WGT someone must be passing away every day.   It's a no win situation for WGT.

Thats why I think his friends should prepare a tribute - not WGT ... again my opinion ... which I know differs from yours - and that's ok.

FYI - Here are 3 nice tributes I've found in about 2 minutes - I'm sure there are many more.

    Regardless ---

I'd still like to send a sympathy card to his family.   If anyone has any info on how to do that ... please post it.

    Thanks,
