389 yd hole. I hit past the pin and it only goes 357 yds. How?

  389 yd hole. I hit past the pin and it only goes 357 yds. How?

  In the upper right of the replay it shows the tee is 357 yards from the hole - not 389 to the hole..

  The yardage in the upper right corner before you hit from the tee box is not always the yardage to the hole.

  When you are on the tee and want to see the yardage to the hole on the hole mini-map to the right, hover your cursor over the blue dot that represents your ball.

  It's more likely the 366 yds tee than the tips.

  Most likely, the difference comes from a slight dogleg in the track - knee next to the big FW bunker.

  (IIRC there's only one set of pins at Whistler(?))

  yup - card yardages (par 4 & par 5) are not straight-line to pin - it's 2 or 3 legs:tee to fairway center, then center to pin (par 4), or tee-center fwy/center to layup/layup spot to pin. ... chuck in some doglegs and it adds up to > 'as the crow flies' yardage.

  Oops, Sorry it took me so long to reply. It was a great shot for me. But when I shot it and when I replayed it, it stated 389 yds. It is when I saved the shot it only showed 357 yds. I am 110% positive. I just took it as a program glitch. I wasn't complaining, but just commenting on it.
