Well, since WGT is a Golf Channel venture, which is owned by NBC, I doubt CBS has any incentive to give attention to WGT. And any commercial for WGT on CBS would obviously have to be paid by WGT.
As for the PGA, there's no obvious benefit for them to attach their name to WGT other than money, which would have to be paid by WGT.
So, unless you want your experience on WGT to cost you more, I think I'd be happy with the way things are.
