A Legend I am,,,,But to shoot in the 50's I can not do,, I have been playing allot and only to do my best is 66,,,I was a master and was just into 62 ,,,,and then was made a legend at the hand of WGT.
I listen and have spoke up to others and also WGT,,, they have said they will not reverse any of the changes they have made,,that is the shame of it all,, There are many others like myself who are stuck in the middle of this mess,,only to wonder if things will ever get better.. I could only hope to see this come to be,,but for now we just play the game and watch others,,,as I have seen, I sit and watch the sandbagging by those who I thought to be friends for more than a year,, and now do there sandbagging and think it is justified because of the WGT changes that have been made,,,also I see as they have told me, they are playing under multible accounts and feel it's justified, and say it is a business and WGT will not do a thing to stop it's revenue from flowing in. Hate to admit it, but it does sound logical.
I am a legend in title only,,,,, I play quite a bit,,,but age is a factor for me,,as it does slow reflexes and hand eye coordination some as I can only believe this happens to other.
There are a group of players who should be legends,,and they are obviously the material that WGT should have made there Legends from,,,Yes they shoot in the 50 and lower 60 61,,,there averages if at all have only changed by one or two strokes in all these changes that have been made. I would think it is obvious after just over a month, that WGT would see who there true Legends are, as they did know before they made there changes. But yet I am chastized for speaking my truths as I see and feel there affects, and also see what is going on with others who are now not playing by the rules of WGT or the truth of the game of golf.
They use us and WGT to justify the wrongs they are doing, as we just sit and watch,,, while they enjoy and tell us to bite the bullet,, or make hay while the sun still shines,,as in suck it up and get used to it...lol Those are the creations of what WGT has done,,,,these people are no longer on the friends list as they are no where near what I have played this game of Golf to believe it was, All for one and one only,,sad situation I have come to see and hear. But as WGT has stated in there letters to me, They will not reverse what they have made there decision.
I will play on, not as before when it was fun and we worked to earn our tiers,,, I can only hope for better equipment to be made available,, but still we will all pay the price,,for it is a business and they only look to truly make a profit, and at any expence to those who enjoy this game.
Long winded, I can be, and will only speak what I have seen and no is true,,, I have played many rounds with you guys,,who are reading what I have just said,,,shame on you,,,But the truth of it is WGT enjoys it's games, and what it is doing in separating the field of players,,, some of us will always see there reasoning,, and as I see it now,,we are all turning away from it's truth and forgetting where the problem lies. As eye wash, WGT will do anything they can to not fix what only they can change. But will make us all believe we are only whinning or cry babies in there doings,,and they will have us all fighting amongst our selves as is evident in there forums.
Play the game I will,,,but will chose the field I play and speak when I feel it necessary, I see the sandbagging and cheating that is now worse than ever,,and only to evident. Yes a sorry situation it is,,, but if all would send there opinions to WGT,, there is always a chance you will not get more than what you have worked for or tried to earn through you own honesty and skills.
