if your ball lands where there are no camera shots it is impossible to let you play it.

interesting because the camera followed exactly where the ball went and showed where it landed

So if you hit the ball at St. Andrew's into the middle of the 14th fairway on the left side you lose your ball. If you hit it in the brush on #16 Merion or #15 Merion lose ball as it stops at edge of cartpath. #4 St Andrew's hit the ball in the fescue 30 yards to the right of tee box you lose the ball. I lost them and many others without a sign of water. Why do you have to be so easy to snag our money from us. The virtual robbery needs to be looked into because no matter what a shot that is in the middle of a fairway you have to play should never be ruled ob period. do whatever but that is stealing. I am very upset and disappointed you go so low to make a profit. I wonder what they call somebody that sell a highly addictive product no matter the price/cost just so the can roll around in their dough/money.

never seen anyone land over there. I am supposing they do not have a camera shot from that position so it would be impossible for the game engine to put your avatar there for a shot.

Brush or Gorse bush? If it was in a Gorse bush then it is always a lost ball. In real life players won't even try to get a ball out of a Gorse bush even if they can easily see it. It comes down to what do you want more. A $4 golf ball or your hand.

Simply not true , see players retrieving balls from gorse all the time  , stick a club in and hook it out .
