  Just shot a lovely 93 on Pinehurst...wow thanks WGT for putting me in my place. I had thought I was getting better here...lol. Awesome difficulty love the game been here since 10 10 10 best golf game short of the real thing....thanks....keep up the good work!

  It's probably from the tips ("hardest tees") for all players regardless of their tier. Compare the hole lengths with the hole information tab. This makes it difficult, perhaps partly impossible, with low-end / Starter clubs.

  On the contrary bishman, there is a difference between acourse being a challenge and being downright unplayable.  Having landed on the 2nd green less than 20 ft from the hole, the green seemed to be downhill wherever the putts were played from.  My first putt shot 15 ft past, then seemed to be an identical downhill lie from the other side of the hole, which is physically impossible!!

  The Qualifier is always from the tips with Champ Speed greens. It would be impossible to qualify with starters but nice fun rounds can be had in these conditions. I dropped a 73 with starter gear and ball.

  I'm surprised the low score in the Qualifier is only 56 so far. It's been a whole 12 hours already. :)))

  I think this is the first year they've had the qualifier on Champ greens, CD.  The previous two qualifiers were on slow Tourney greens (almost Very Fast). 

  The final rounds have always been on Champ Greens though.  Maybe this year Shoe's gonna' break out the "string tag: null" speed for those?  ;-)

  Oakmont had the same conditions for qualifying. It was the introduction to Championship greens here and it was hard. Heh-ask anybody short on #2 the first time they played it where the ball wound up. :-D

  Thanks YJ.  I wasn't sure about the speeds for the older ones....just knew that the last few years have had rather slow greens for the qualifier.

  I'm still wondering whether they'll bring Shoe's crazy speeds out of semi-retirement for the final rounds.  That would certainly keep scoring down a little (and keep frustrations up...lol).

  I just played it for the first time and got away even. I think I only played it twice on the CTTH game, was a good change of pace. I can see the low scores after mapping and a bit of hand/eye. I can't shoot that low as of yet, but hey that's what keeps me here. Just upgraded on the internet speed and the game is working like I haven't seen before, Lag has went away and the meter is smoooooooooooth. So bring on the new stuff, me like!

  Unfortunately no craziness greens speeds for this tournament. As much fun as it would be to see you all suffer won't be fair to players who have never seen them before.  Just wait for what I got planned for you all after the VUSO!  Hahahahaha
