Course difficulty ratings changed?

  All of my course ratings have changed to five star (difficult) status, where as they used to be varied.............ST. Andrews and KI were easy, Merion was high moderate, Congressional was difficult etc.  Now every stroke play course is off the charts.  Any thoughts, info, or ideas?

  I expect that they'll exchange that fault for another one at the next upgrade. :-)

  I've noticed that too. I like to play single player strokeplay at St. Andrews which was always an "easy" level but now it's moderate and a lot less fun,

  All the settings are showing as locked:

  The hole locations are set to medium
  Tees are yellow
  Green speed is fast (odd, because it used to be very fast)
  Wind  is moderate
  Lies are even

  I thought it was just me so I'm 'glad' that someone else has seen the same thing.

  Likewise, I'd like to know what's going on... any ideas WGT??

  There is always a smartass or two in the crowd somewhere.................these were my thoughts as well.

  Conversely if you bogey every hole I suppose they are difficult.

  Maybe it is the level of VEM to be applied.

  Settings have always been locked in ranked play - did you try changing to practice?

  As a Master, the green speed should be set to very fast - did you check what the greens show when you play them?

  Me thinks that they have played havoc with some displays (likewise "time left" in Brackets and CC comps) and I hope that the settings themselves remained unchanged.

  Alas, I have no hope for speedy remedy nor for any official answer, whether meaningful or not.
