Can anyone tell me why, when playing opponents with the same Ping G20 Driver, they are hitting the ball 20 yards further that I? This is a regular occurence. I use the full meter swing and this still happens - even on "dinged" shots.

Most likely reason is that you have the worst ball in the game.  Your opponents are using better balls.

another factor: knowing the course and where the best bounce/roll is going to occur

another factor:  Wind.  A lot of guys will hit their shot to go into the wind from beginning to end.  Ideally, you want to hit your shot so that the wind is help you at the end of the shot.  Example.  Wind is blowing left to right. You want to hit your shot so that it lands and rolls on the right side of the fairway, which means the ball was fighting the wind for half the airtime and riding the wind for the other half.  if you aim to land it on the left, the ball pretty much fought the wind the whole way

Are you sure it is the SAME G20 driver. You have the level 58, but there is an 83 version that is rated 10 yards longer.

As been stated, balls make a huge difference. Someone using an RZN distance ball, or even spin ball for that matter, is going to outdrive your starter ball on every drive, and yes it could be by as much as 20 yards or more

^Adding to that, it is HIGH trajectory for the L81 version, not med/high like the L58 one is.

    Thanks for your advice.

I have tried some different balls and they certainly seem to make a difference. My question now is how do I estimate the extra distance the ball gives to my irons when hitting into the greens?

    Many thanks.

Play the no wind tourneys and map out your clubs.

    FYI

I just learned that the Ping G20 is now the Ping G25, as of June make over. Same specs but different look.

Could you please explain how adding some credits can help?

    Many thanks, Tim.
