One way of testing the spin theory is to play a game with somebody else with the same equipment.

I know that if leave the dot at Normal and the other person has slight B/Spin...  they outdrive me.

I will test out the T/spin vs B/spin next time I get a chance.

If you click on their user name and go to their profile you can send them a message.  You can also message multiple friends, just start a message to one and then click to the right of their name in the recipient box, start typing another friends name and it will show any on your list that match.  This only works if the additional friends are among the first 20 (I think anyway) on your friends list though.

When you're at the game client, click start multiplayer game.  After you've chosen game type and have clicked invite players you get to the screen where you add other players to the game.  One of the search options is friends.  They'll only show up if they're green (available) or blue (ready to play) though.

I hope this all makes sense, after a while it's just automatic so you kinda don't notice how to do it any more.
