A couple questions nobody has been able to answer ...

    1. Will the ball travel further on drives if I click the ball and change to less spin before every drive or shot? I know it adds backspin for more spin with wedges but distance for less on drives??  In trying this I'm not noticing a difference in drive distance.

    2. If I have a club with 2.0 spin and a ball with 2.0 spin is that the same as a club with 4.0 spin with a ball with no spin?

No. In order to use spin you have to have a club that is capable of applying it as well as a ball that will take it. No spin balls are like rocks.  :-)

    Yep.

Drivers can't put much if any back spin on the ball but as club loft increases a club can apply more backspin. That's why wedges give the most backspin when the spin adjustment dot is moved all the way to the bottom of the ball.

A key to drivers is the angle of the club face which determines the ball trajectory.

A driver with an 8° face flies the ball with a lower trajectory than a driver that has a 10.5° face.

since q 1 has been covered, i'll give you my best answer for q2: I don't know :P

only way to know is to compare each drive and see how it performs... I know few have done putting tests, where they put from same spot 20 times and avg it out... same have to be done with driver and then compare :)

Well spotted Courteney, you may have to let the rest catch up.

Off the Tee using a Driver with a Tailwind,  A touch of B/spin (just below centre)  will get you more distance.

Full B/Spin, using a driver will help to get over obstacles in front of you and also will make the ball stop quicker on the Fairway so it doesn't run off into the Rough, within reason.

All depends on clubs and golf balls too.
