Short putts need finer grid. Particularly for tough hole locations I find I am penalized for hitting it close to the hole as the grid often lies or at least hides the nuances immediately around the cup. I had a grid showing a steep slope and all left break, but the putt broke to the right at the hole.   No joy.  This has happened too often.

Give me more complete information to read the green around the hole, maybe a square grid square with 3 or 4 inch resolution with 24 inches of the hole and frustration over misinformation when putting will dissipate.

Select Pitch, Chip, or Flop shot mode and you can access a different putting green grid that you can move by putting your cursor on the aiming square and holding down the left mouse button.

By moving the grid you can more closely see what the contours are close to the hole.

On longer putts put the ball and the hole in the same grid column for a more accurate read of the break.

You have to switch back to Putt to, well putt.
