Tomorrow is Saturday and quite possibly a change in RGs, if not, then maybe next Sat. Doesn't really matter which, as the point of this thread is to tell WGT what you want in the form of RGs before they make the change.

I personally always seem to find enough RGs to make me content, but know there are a lot of people who don't, so I figured, why wait til they change and get upset. Lets just tell them what we want now.

From what I could tell there were about 15 open tiered slots available. That doesn't include UEL or tier based RGs.  I threw together a list of entry fees and how many holes off the top of my head, from what I could remember reading in the various posts. Basically I tried to be somewhere in the middle, but everyone has their own opinion and now is your time to let em know, especially seeing as there may be a change in payout structure coming soon.

    1 x 2K 18 holes, 1x 1K 18 Holes, 1 x 500 18 holes, 1 x 500 9 holes, 1 x 400 18 holes. 1 or 2 x 300 18 holes, 2 x 200 18 holes, 2 x 200 9 holes, 2 x 100 9 holes, 2 or 3 x 50 9 holes.

I threw in a couple of ors in there as you could take away one and give it to another if you like. I am sure there are more places you could do that, also assuming there are only 15 slots, if there are more than just make more, less take some away.

I for one could identify probably 9 or 10 of these that I would be interested entering, depending on the courses and conditions.

I think the higher stakes RGs need to be courses like Cabo, Bethpage, Best of Famous, St. Andrews. I didn't enter them so I am not sure, but I think these were ones that used to fill up. I also liked the idea someone had of having at least one of the 50 credits RGs as a Tru Golf course. If you are gonna have to pay to play them, why not have it be in an RG where you might be able to get some of your entry back.

Lastly, I really think it would be best to just get rid of the TL tiered RGs.  They hardly ever fill up and the TLs who play regularly in RGs would much rather have 4 more open tiered RGs that fill, than 4 more TL based one that will just sit there with the other 6 that are sitting there now.

I know my scenario isn't perfect, but tried to fall somewhere in the middle. Also not the point of the thread.  Just a way to start it off.

    Enjoy!!

    Personally I like 100cr RG's 9hole, occaisionally I'll play a 200cr one, but not often.

the 50 credit tru-golf ready-go are a great change of pace and not too hard on the wallet, but all of the 50 cr ones seem to fill quickly and they give a player who is not yet a regular top 10 in the standings a chance to learn how these tourneys play. 3-4 of the 50 credit ready-go's would be welcomed by many players IMHO

No matter what WGT do they will not pleas every one. We all have our own opinions on ready go's.  Personally, my favorite are the $2, $3 and $5 Any course, 9 or 18.  I will only play maybe 1 x $1 ready go if i'm short on time or bored and don't even entertain the 50c ones.  Its like i've been hit by WGT inflation.  Previously balls were not as expensive so we could live on the $1 ready go's to buy balls, but now balls are so expensive you need to enter $2+ ready go's to win any credits + the fact so many players now are much better than they used to be so breaking even now is getting tough, and doubling your credits does not happen as frequent as before.  The more ready go's the better.  As long as they're tierless, they tend to fill up more quickly than regular tour legend ones.

I suggested a ready go league system in the anouncement & news section which if implemented correctly could give ready go's a fresh challenge

Absolutely spot on, I'd love to see Cabo front 9 or back 9 on less than tourney greens & heavy winds. I have only been on Cabo maybe a dozen times. The Whistler back 9 that we have now has been a breath of fresh air for me. Whistler can almost triple your 50c for 2nd place. I cannot afford anything above 100 credits since I am not able to place very often. The more 50 credit RG's the better & we would have plenty of room for them if you get rid of the TL RG's.

I enjoy an tru-golf RG with high winds very much, as I'm sure many do but we must have a variety of RG environments.

atleast 4 50cr RG of all conditions please!

just give us a few highstakes wgt.. then your normal 100, 200,300 etc.. a lot of us want some more excitement in these rg's. It gets very old with the same thing over and over. when we ask every month for highstakes..
