Have you seen some of the scores being posted in this?

There are some people, and I'm not kidding here, who can't play the 18 holes under 70 strokes.

They must be playing with their eyes closed.

Clicked on this topic thinking "another one"

Every golf course membership base has.

    Elite players

    Very good players

    Mid-pack golfers

    Choppers

If you were to some how convert WGT to real life scores over par 70 course if they had a chance to play 100+ times

    Elite players -1 to -2  69 to 68

    Very good players +4 to +5 74 to 75

    Mid-Pack +10 to +12 80 to 82

    Choppers +17 to +20 87 to 90 <<<< really any number.

Then adding into that US open setup hard tee`s thicker rough and faster greens would be at least 2 or 3 shots on top of that for the elite and very good golfers 4 to 5 shots for the mid pack players and 7 to 10 shots for the choppers.

Choppers always complain about elite players, Elite choppers complain about choppers hitting to many shots during a round. Choppers don`t understand the work needed to become elite. Many of these are the case on WGT don`t put the time into anything then your at a stand still not improving.

Yeah, it was my tongue in cheek attempt at redressing the balance somewhat.  I'm so sick of threads calling the good players cheats I figured it was time we had one calling the crap players....... well...... crap.

I wonder if anyone on a real golf course has watched their playing partner hit an approach to 1 foot and muttered something about them being a git.

I really don't understand way so many think it's wrong to be good at something.  Or better than they are anyway.  The top players have put in hundreds of hours to get to the level they are, it must be really annoying to then be accused of misdoings when they score well.

Every bloody day some bottom feeder slithers into the forums and posts a load of shite about someone who can play better than they can.

Enough. There are 2 options as I see it.

    1. Put in the effort and learn to post good scores.

    2. Accept that you just aren't as good as the best here and STFU.

I struggle with the question of why so many think it's right to make everyone equally bad at something. Or make the best worse than they are. I question this in all aspects of life, not just here.

    Ditto.  It's a plague "everywhere".

4510 posts. Are you kidding me?? Nice. You know, there is a whole world out there…..with real people.

The point is not being critical of people who shoot low scores. Good for them. The point is it's not realistic. If Speith plays 10,000 rounds and Kutchar plays 1000, Speith still only beats him by a few strokes. They don't birdie and eagle every hole, thats a joke. I simply said I don't see the fun in that. But the people who LIVE on here take it personally
