Bracket payout issue, question for WGT

  Hey there!

  I know I'm a week late with this news, but I've discovered something funny. Not sure if this is a bug or by design, but I've played the Legend 500 cr bracket just over a week ago and wasn't able to complete the final round (away for the weekend). I didn't mind it much, cause my opponent was a fella I didn't have much chance of winning against and I thought to myself, 2160 credits and no ball wear is a good deal.

  But my opponent WD as well and as far as I can tell none of us received any prize (I sure as heck didn't). This effectively means that WGT took most of the pot (5760 credits of 7200 to be exact). So was the payout system not properly programmed for such a scenario?

  Interesting, you'd think the pot would be split, then again, I could see WGT using the Tie Breaker...where the first WD posted would win.

   

  Odd no credits were given, might be tough without the Tourney #...but I'd suggest emailing WGT-use the support "contact" link at the bottom of the page.

  Bonus for you...under  "Account" it will list all your history and ID#'s of the tourneys you have entered.

  If you don't play your round and it gives you a "WD," do you not get any credits? Just wondering as I was in semi-finals but out of town this weekend thus the "WD." Assumed I would get 4th place credit for 144 credits, but did not see them under my account. 

  Just curious.
