Update notes on the latest changes ?

  Hi guys,

   

  I noticed yesterday that a lot of changes were made in the game but I cannot find any changelog of what was implemented/changed. Could you please post a link to it if that does exist ?

  the major changes are listed in the news. The rest is usually discussed in the downtime thread. it could be a bit messy but usually a very good read.

  I do not like the new changes they made whatsoever - you know, having an understanding of the precise wind direction and speed on each hole is probably the most important aspect of setting up a shot. By not providing the exact MPH (even though the range is within 2 mph) it makes it more of a guessing game rather than one's accumulative knowledge of how hard to hit each shot. I haven't noticed a drastic change in my scoring but it just is not prudent to provide an approximate wind speed rather than precise (unless you're trying to have the best players in the game not score as well as the once did); perhaps this is WGT motivation, but i for one am flabbergasted why they would even consider altering this aspect. I vote to return the game the way it was before the changes 2 days ago and I hope others feel the same way because im thinking if there was enough of a stink about this change WGT would  have no recourse but to listen to "We the players" who pay them.   The wind figures were never precise.There was always variation. I think some people are overthinking the changes.

  Question on the bracket tourneys. When 2 players in a round tie, how is the winner decided?

  The winner is decided by Wgt's Tie Braker System

  ' In the event of a tie, the better scoring entrant between or among the tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final nine (9) holes of the Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final six (6) holes for such Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final three (3) holes for such Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest score for the 18th hole (9th for nine hole games) in such Game, and any remaining ties will be determined by identifying the lowest scoring entrant for each individual game hole, in sequence from 17th (8th for nine hole games) through to 1st, as is necessary to determine a winner, and if any ties remain at that point, the earlier-submitted entry between or among the tied entries will be deemed the better scoring entry.

  I don't think the wind has changed at all.  Before we just had to take our chances on the wind speed indicated as being a constant speed, but how many times did a shot come up short or go long.  Now, the indicator reflects that possible wind change.  Kind of wish the spread was a bit larger, or just one number that fluctuates during your shot.

  HMMM,,  all i  ask for  was  to  change the max to white.. didnt know such a  simple task  took 4 weeks to program..  and after all the attempts to find my ball in the shadows of  oakie 1,, and 3 weeks of programing,,,my balls are still  black,, lol  dang,,
