I was just about to contribute to a thread before I realized it was about regular brackets not country club brackets.

This is specifically about the new CCB's.

Firstly thanks to WGT for giving clubs the option of creating them. It's great to be able to host them.

Here are just a few ideas that could improve upon it.

I think it would be better if the host were given the option to create an entry deadline (24/48/72 hours) so that if players do not enter within the specified time the tournament continues anyway with those players who have entered. Otherwise the bracket uses a tournament slot and remains inactive until all slots are filled. Obviously not so much an issue for bigger clubs or those where players are quickly signing up.

It also made me think, what happens to the club's where the capacity is just 15?....they're going to have a hard time filling 16 slots.

Which follows on to...why not create 8 player and 32 player brackets? This is something that's been requested many times since brackets were introduced.

I like the idea of the draw being randomly done once the 16 players sign up.

It would be better to wait until all 16 have played before the leader score in R1 is displayed (particularly with premium CCB's).

...anyway those are just some of my thoughts.

100% agree and also posted something here and CC corner as well as messaged wgticon this was the answer.

    hi

right now, no,it's not possible because each bracket has to be manually made/programmed in the initial stage. we are looking to make some 32/64 down the line but likely not smaller ones.

I guess those owners who want the default country club size (15 capacity) are going to have a problem then or maybe this is WGT's way to push them to upgrade if they want to host brackets tournaments?

Another solution would be to to add registration deadlines and byes evenly spread for those spaces unfilled.  Probably too much of a pain for them to programme to see any time soon though.

Not 8, but 64? That's ridiculous. WGT said they wanted to listen to CC's, apparently not.

Provide for a filler you could name BYE or just the option for the bracket maker to pick byes.

We've got this problem with our two bracekst posted. Only partly filled and gone beyond the deadlines. I've no idea what to do.

    Any help WGT?

we have had a bracket take three days to fill and then turn into a 30 minute round game- which left all as a WD since no-one knew. We were all sent the 24hr round email.

Has this been fixed at last update?

we are looking into fixing the email 30 min issue.  And have added to the to do list a way to clear unfilled brackets and smaller participant numbers, but those features could take awhile.
