On the sign up screen there is no mention of the time limits to complete each round.  After signing up you have to wait till the bracket is filled before you know whether you have 30 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hours to complete your round.  Even the "info" on the dropdown provided on the Club Tournament page makes no mention of a "time to complete each round.  It would be nice to know before you sign up then when you go back find you and more than half the rest of the bracket have WD because your 30min or 1 hour to play had passed.

also unlike all other tournaments with a bracket tournament once it's completed the winner and their final score are missing or left blank in the Club Tournaments page. You have to go into the bracket link to find out the result.

...and  the 1st person to play in the tournament has their score revealed to everyone in the Club Tournaments page which is unfair. Basically P2 has an advantage of knowing their opponents score that other players don't have.

For example if P1 WD's P2 can see this and take advantage and play any score because the know they'll automatically qualify. P1 might also play an excellent round which could also influence who would want to play against them.

I think WGT needs to address this in the next update.

Thanks for your reply Icon. One more thing I would add is that the other tournaments have a 'remind to play' button accessible from the leaderboard link in Club Tournaments which presumably sends out a reminder to all players who haven't already entered (and those that have opted to receive emails) to enter the tournament.

This option  is currently missing from brackets but would be equally as useful for reminding players to enter the brackets tournaments and fill up the open slots.

...still think there should be something on the entry/sign up screen (before the bracket is filled) showing the amount of time you will have to complete your round.

BillyMayfair: Thank you for the feedback and the suggestion. The CC brackets are new so we greatly appreciate the helpful comment. We will be sure to work on this one as well.

This is ridiculous...you add new CTTH brackets but fail to clear up the old problems first.

Here is an exact example of what I'm talking about....   Sign up for a bracket, that has not yet filled, and no where on the screen does it say what the time limit is to compete each round.  You get this....

You receive nothing telling you the bracket is now filled and you have x amount of time to complete your round.....

Then two hours later this arrives....

If I had known it was a 1hr bracket, make that a 15minute bracket....I would not have signed up for it.

Although this time it wasn't a "credit" tournament, the same problem exists even there.  I can't believe people aren't complaining more.  Previously when you first introduced CC brackets, our CC had a credit stroke play tourney that 12 people wound up with WD's and forgeiting their entry because nowhere was there shown a "time limit for each round" on the  sign up page.

C'mopn WGT it can't be that hard to show something on the sign up screen....

"If I had known it was a 1hr bracket, I would not have signed up for it."

Looking back at the results it wasn't even a 1hr bracket it was a 15min. bracket...

You have to know how long the "play time" is before signing up!!!

I agree with you it should be fixed to help stop this happening.

Until it does get sorted out I 'd recommend asking your club owner either to not create speed brackets (30min or 1hr) and only create 24hr brackets, which is what I currently do in my club. Or if they insist on speed brackets have the timeframe put in the title of the bracket tournament for example "New Haven Weekly 30M Speed Bracket" or something that suits the club and gives players the information they need before entering.

thx PRStevenson....in fact that is exactly what we did...all our CC brackets are 24hr ones.
