  Congratulations First and foremost go out to Wiger's 2014 World Cup Predictor Champion Mainz!  Also thanks to all the sponsors as well and participants who stuck thru to the end.  Very few WD'S.  Big Congrats also to Bridgestone Golf also for their stellar showing in the overall standings.  Lastly and most importantly a tip of the hat has to go to Johnny for his hard work and stellar effort in putting forth this contest.  Cheers mate!  I do not have much but kind words and a sleeve are the least I could do.  Sleeve sent m8- Thanks again-GD

  On a side note ..

  Neuer for GK of the tourny i can understand 

  Messi for player of the world cup...wtf is that about, did Sepp Splatter decide that on the night ?

  I can think of 20 or more better players, Robben, Macherano , Quadrado , Rodrigues , Gyan or any of the German Squad......for example.

  A well deserved victory for Germany and the world cup certainly belongs there!  I am sure cars with the flag of Germany mounted on them will parade most German cities through the night, and going by the consumption of beer it seems to be Oktoberfest already!

  Johnny - many thanks for putting up this fun-filled world cup predictor challenge, which I enjoyed.  Although I was mathematically in fray until the very end, the night when 2 of my seemingly spot-on predictions went awry due to last minute injury time goals, I realised that the Mainzman juggernaut would be difficult to stop.  Glückwünsche Herr Mainzman!
