I'm not going to buy any more clubs until I can hit it as far as Bubba.  Come on, it's a virtual game.  Let us hit it as far as the best players on the pro tour.

It's a fantasy game.  It's not supposed to reflect real life.  When I want to get frustrated, I'll go out to the real course.

Please give us the option of buying a driver that I can hit 350.  Remember, you're losing real money from me.

    You sell a 350 yd driver, I buy it...today.

I'm usually able to hit my 287 yard rated driver 300+ yards.

Most of the tour pros don't hit it near as far as Bubba does. It's only the top 10% or so of pros (1 out of 10) that average 300 or more yards per drive.

So far this year only 40% of Bubba's drives go 320 or more yards. (4 out of 10) - http://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.496.html

As far as driving accuracy Bubba is ranked pretty low at 102nd - hitting the fairway only 60.23% of the time - http://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.102.html

Drive for show. Putt for dough.

Nah, I always try to hit the longest drive, no matter where it goes.  It's all about bragging rights.  Nobody remembers that mediocre 75, but they do remember that time they hit over 300 even if went into the weeds.

Well, that's what sticks in my mind anyway.

Well, I'm saying that I would like to play like one of the top ten percent of the pros on the computer, not in real life..

Why not?  It's a fantasy game.  We should be able to live out our fantasies, rather than attempt to reflect real life statistics.

If I want to be frustrated, I'll go out to my local muni.  On the computer, I want to be able to pull off shots that I couldn't when playing for real.

I just looked up driving averages on the PGA.   http://www.pgatour.com/stats/stat.101.html

Copied and pasted into an excel spreadsheet and averaged out the drive distance.

Just deleted everything, but I didn't see this thread until after doing so. lol

Average came out to 288.XX yds,

Only 2 things you need . L 88+ Big Bertha , and 33+ Cally ball . That should do the trick . But you wont ever get that kind of distance , using the starter ball . So if you want 300 yard drives , there you go . Now the rest is up to you . Trying to blackmail WGT , has never worked yet , so let us know if it does . Good luck :-)

Nor has asking nicely or giving incentive.

Yellow Callaways means more money spent WGT.   And I'll buy the Bertha 287 yd driver to go hit them lol.

So, pretty please WGT, give us yellow Cally balls, or I'll never buy anything again.

Think I pretty much covered all angles there.  ;-)

I have the R1 driver.............it says it goes 287..........depending on the wind,  up or downhill of the fairway,  and a pixel or two up or down on the ball I'm using I can smack 320 to 350 a lot of times......it's all on knowing your clubs and matching the ball with your clubs.

If they came out with the yellow callways I could probably get 400 yard drives all the time

    :~o

and if WGT was real nice they could throw in one of these Free Hats with a sleeve

then they can sell these matching golf bags for 20,000 credits too

Did WGT ever give a reason why they are not offering the yellow Callaway. Is it some kind of legal matter that is stopping them from offering it?
