The other day I was watching with interest a video posted on WigerToods profile and I was wondering if anyone in the community of WGT, obviously besides him (if he was the creator of the video), it was able to create these videos directly from those of the replays.

I am a donkey with these things, so I wanted to know if there is any volunteer who likes to create them, obviously without commitment, just to let you know. The Wiger video was really nice, even if he add some original live comments while the video run.

    Ciao,
    Davide.

Wiger posted his amazing collection of saved replays in the "Happy Birthday" thread a couple of days ago. I begged him to do one for me of my saved replays, because I likewise have zero talent to do so myself, but Mr. Toods graciously declined...Sadly, no time to do so...I still want one, big time.

    Thank you Lily.

I was just tempted to contact Toods but I didn't want to distrurb him for my pleasure, and I think I do the good way. We should just learn how to do or waiting an helping and from the community.

    Appreciate that.

We should learn. If I ever master this typing thing....And, he explains "how to" on June 2, page 56 of the 'Happy Birthday' thread. Also, anyone else that would love to view "Wiger's" extraordinary work can do so by looking at June 1st, page 55 of the "HBD" thread. It is a "doozy"

Don't know if it will come to anything, but the computer geek who built mine (ex-boyfriend of my youngest) is staying with me for a weeks seaside break in a fortnights time.

I, too, marveled at WT's video and thought how cool it would be do have one.  So I will ask Fred when he's here...if anyone can teach someone who struggles to remember how to 'google' something to make those, it's him.

Will advise if/when anything comes of it.

I use Hypercam (free) to record replays, then I can use 'Windows Movie Maker' (came with my laptop) to assemble the replays and add transitions, graphics and VOs or music to the file

    VO = voice over

Firstly - Thanks for the kind words folks.

    @ Fraenkel,

    Fraenkel:

The bold bit was actually the main reason I tried putting the video together in the 1st place.

Here's my *snipped* reply to 'SP' on the Happy Birthday thread.

    WigerToods2010:

    @ 'SP'

Seen your message. I'm sorry but I really don't have the time and only made the video up as a tester.

It's relatively simple to do. All I did was save each replay and searched for vids on youtube that had the 'commentary' I was after.

I used Windows Movie Maker and a free screen grabber from here.

Contained within are various programs for doing all kinds of things, from converting videos, music files etc  to a different format, to grabbing existing files on youtube etc.

Go on ..give it a go. If you attempt it, try changing your avatar before recording replays and you'll be dressed differently for each replay you save.

    Good luck.

Google has been around a while now - try a search on there for tips etc - it's all I did.

    @ 'Sweetiepie'

To be honest I felt rather crappy at not doing the video for you. Without going into any great detail I've had bigger priorities to deal with since just before the turn of the year.

I've always done my bit on here re helping folk out on the main forums (Type 'Wiger' into the forum search box, you may be surprised) and also within a great CC where I was a member until fairly recently.

Sister Kat will have a fair idea of what I'm referring to re the 'turn of the year' - though why I have to justify what I do, or don't do, on here is beyond me.

    @ PT

    Excellent vids bud

Thank you all guys and Lily.

Great video indeed Paul, I would like to get some video like yours or the ones from Wiger, adding the voice from a real stroke game was awesome. I will really love to get a personal video from my replays but I think is a real spent of hours and work and it's not correct acting to ask a favour, this could become much more then a single help so, nice try from me.

I will enjoy looking at your videos guys, beautiful for real.

    David.

I'm trying to edit a demo using hypercam and windows movie maker.

FRAENKEL, this was just a test for me, if you'd like me to remove this video, I will.

This seems easy enough that if you had an idea of which videos and titles (like a storyboard) I could make a video for you.
