The putting feature is totally unrealistic.  How can a putt, that is 30 feet away and you push the meter to about 20% (when it states the max is 60 feet) go 20 feet past the hole on a seemingly flat surface. Problems with putting makes this game arduous not fun.  It's not only the putting, but the pitching as well.  Into the wind at, say, 20 feet and you select a Loft Wedge that says "15 feet" and into breeze, and the ball sails over the flag and twenty feet away.

It's called learning, if you could master the game in 4 rounds you'd be bored sick of it by 40.

I would suggest going into your game settings , advanced options and turning on display putting power.  Then whenever you play practice games it will help suggest what power you can use.  This is not 100% accurate but it will help you learn how to adjust for the green speed and hills.

The distance displayed on the putting meter when it says 30 feet, really means it should go 30 on a flat surface and a green speed of somewhere around 10/normal.  So if the green speed it faster the ball will go more than 30 ft.

To be honest-the WGT starter putter is not a good club. Also-need to know the type of green you are on as they read differently. Green speed reflects the top player on the round. Mine are tourney 12 speed. Legend is tourney 11-a bit faster. i always use full back spin when pitching which works well most times.  Upgrade your clubs, putter, and balls as soon as possible. This makes the game far more enjoyable.

Nothing about this is realistic.. it's not supposed to be, it's a GAME.

You think anyone is shooting in the 50's at Pinehurst (RL) this weekend?

Willie - sorry the game is tough and it does take time to learn

When I first started I could not putt for the life of me.  Just like real life putting is the hardest thing and reading the green to determine the power is very hard to do.  Stick with it and it will come to you slowly.
