I'm guessing the idea has already been suggested.

We "newbies" desire a place to test our new equipment outside of course arenas. Driving ranges for Drivers, Wedges... putting range, too.

Also, revenue from making "Range Tournaments" might appeal to WGT?

Ideas?  I just want a place to learn my equipment... without having to play a game.

I've found setting up a 9 or even random 3 hole practice round and using the mulligan feature makes for excellent practice. You can hit repeated drives all you want. The par 3 course is great for practicing around the greens. Just have to miss the green off the tee and have at it.

A driving practice range is a great Idea and a full controller support for the game would be great as well. But I guess they can not support full game pad in WGT.

Quite simply a driving range is not required as explained, and also the cost of developing vs income would not be a good revenue return for the company. Mulligans and practice mode work just as well in real conditions - after all we cannot change the grip, stance etc

As for controller support, Flash does not support controllers directly, so will not happen via WGT. I believe there are a couple of third party programs that can assign keys/values to a game pad - I am sure Scott our resident techie will explain further.
