I'm a tour-pro (level 87, 67.32), and just shot a 91 with my "free" rental clubs!  How the $%#%, are people shooting under the cut-line of 57?!  Really?!

    How about a realistic cut-line?

Whatever; I'll just keep playing my own tournaments at my "bogey-golf" level.

Some people are just that good. This is a tournament for the very best players so lesser players like you and me stand no chance. That's the way it should be.

    Tin cup or Tinfoil hat?

I am not a great player by any stretch but look at the statistics of the top players then do a comparison to yours.

I am not sure what clubs you normally use but all your stats are poor. The reason you play bogey golf is you are just over 50% GIR - and 1 out of every 3 times you miss the green you make bogey. Then when you do make the green, you are probably too far away to bake many birds. You will never score well like this.

There are some great tips in the forums, do some research, play with better players who will help and you will improve.

I am happy to have a game with ya, perhaps I might able to give you a few pointers.

And for the record I agree - 57 is way too low - they should make it 58 then I would be in lol (and I tried 3 times)

I'd advise getting better clubs and improving your game. As a L87, there is no reason you should only be at tour pro level

The scores are BS compared to real life golf, but they are not BS for WGT, which is fantasy golf.

    These guys are awesome..

I've got only one gripe with the system.. All of the major tourneys AND qualifiers should be single play. These guys are good enough to post a dominant score in one try if they don't choke.. and if they do.. that's golf.

    my 10p worth.

I think i qualified for my first open as a tour master way back. I could only do that by trying maybe 30 or 40 times on unlimited and it was a big challenge I enjoyed. The top tour legends get four chances to choke on the open itself.

Precisely.  If the game was way harder and the qualifying score was 68 then the OP would complain that he couldn't qualify with a 102.

As has already been said, the best players here really are that good.  Whatever the scores are, they will nearly always be at the top of the boards.

I agree but WGT sell loads of balls through the unlimited qualifying.  I would like to see qualifying limited to 10 starts or something but maybe that's just because I hate unlimited, I really can't be bothered to keep restarting.

Those who either can be bothered or are good enough to post a good score within a few rounds deserve to be in the finals.
