    MrSCicero:

No I don't want to blame them for everything,BUT every time I ask a question regarding an issue they give me the run around for a response. I have played with a wired mouse and a wireless mouse on several different computers with the same situation happening on them all!

the fact that this has double posted also indicates a mouse problem, just saying

OK, then I guess my next question to you is does your meter stop every time you click on it to have it stop?

Just an example: I just played the first 9 holes on St Andrews first 8 holes wind blowing left to right, meter did not stop until release, 9th hole wind direction changed from right to left I clicked where I normally do to stop my meter and the meter stopped on the click instead of the release.

yes,  very precisely , to the nearest pixel.

I am not WGT btw, just a player. This problem is at your end.

The mouse itself and any associated drivers/software is the first, most likely and simplest possibility.

Looks like this problem has happened before, check out this thread

I think a fix may be in there somewhere, hope it helps.

The thing is that my putter meter stops on the click every time its my driver and irons that seem to do this to me the most,And it is usually after I make a good score on the hole before or a good shot before the shot that does it!

It seems to me that if it was in fact my mouse every shot would do this, But like I said my meter stops on the click every time with my putter, different shots seem to interact with the mouse different. Wind direction seems to make a difference also. I was just wondering if in fact this was programmed this way intentionaly

You also seem to have a mixture of clubs with different meter speeds. You also seem to be using starter balls that have a notoriously fast meter speed. My question becomes one of how you know where you click with each and every swing? And like real golf, even the top pros have a hard time replicating their best swings. Be happy to be near the ding and accept that your shots will fall into a circle that grows in diameter the further away from the ding you are. Even hitting the ding on every shot, you will still encounter a randomness that mirrors real golf with its variations in lie and ball positions (above/below your feet). Go forth and play and may the force be with you.

I do understand all of what you are saying, I have tried the balls that slow down the meter but have had meter problems with my meter skipping while using them also, This is not my first time playing this! I quit playing for a year hoping that in time these problems would go away. It just gets frustrating when you get a good score on a hole and then have it followed up by a metered shot off the tee and end up with a double on the next because of it, I have had my meter shoot from the first line before the ding to the line after the ding so many time I could not count them all!

This is an age old problem and, in fact, was mentioned by Robert Burns in 1785...

Yes my meter stops exactly when i click it 98% of the time and it always stops on the click not the release, of course every now and then it seems to fly through a bit quick or stutters a bit, i 'm sure that happens for most players. I wish i could help you but i don't think i can
