i am sure a lot of players are having the same problem but have you ever considered that your reflex reaction is not the same 100% of the  time ,if it was then you would be hitting the ding all the time,i am sure masters legends  and all other tiers experience the same problem ,but they all persevere  with this game

BTW, if I run any extra programs, have another window open, have automatic updates of programs, especially windows itself..... I then get meter stutter, meter stop before the click, meter won't stop after the click, entire game (not just meter) stutter.

In other words, the game is pretty much not enjoyable at that point.

No, not yet but that is going to be my starting point. Have to get to the store to buy one.

However one thing that I have noticed is that everyone that has luck with their meter also uses clubs with a slower meter speed than the clubs I am using! That was my bad in choosing a club with more distance when I changed tiers so I could reach the fairways on some courses. And at such time when I tiered up all of the clubs had a meter speed of 3 that would make fairways for the tee box I was moved back to.

I'm not sure that's the source of your problem.  I've had some wickedly fast meter clubs in the past and have pretty much always had a smooth meter and the click has worked when I wanted it to.

From what you described a dodgy mouse looks the most likely cause.  Let us know if it sorts itself out when you get a new one.

I close all open windows prior to even opening my browser, even close the main title screen for this when playing, after clearing browsing history. One thing I wish they would add to the main page is a button that links to clear flash cash.
