Hey saja, I can`t really add much to this other than to eliminate this possibility. I`ve been using Iron since last December with XP and have not had Any problems with installing it or using it.
My only thought is that there are "preferences" or something similar, preset on your computer that preclude your ability to install and use Chrome Iron properly. GL
