    7 forevaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

gotta agree with Yiannis to a certain extent.  Unless you have to build new, then 10.  Can't redo my 7's when changing motherboard with OEM.

It's free as an upgrade from 10, as far as I have been able to tell,as was 10 in relation to 7 and 8.1.  I haven't seen anywhere the cost of 11 yet.  My gamer I built 2 years ago I loaded with 10, I got the thumb drive for $140 from microsoft, a full copy and key.  I couldn't justify going back on with 7 as the cheapest I could find was over $400.  That machine was originally built by cyberpower and had a OEM copy of 7 on it.

Check out pcpartspicker, good for compatibility, and pricing.  If by chance you are not going to replace the MB, you can still upgrade 7 to 10 for free, even if the 7 was an OEM copy.  I just recently did that to an old computer of my wife's that had a virus on the hard drive I could not get rid of without a format.  Her restore disks would not work on the unformatted drive, and I wanted to change the computer over to a SSD anyway.  Her computer had never been updated to SP1 and could not find a viable source of SP1, so only choice was to take it to 10.

😟 Unfortunately so... Now the trends are like they're integrating the interfaces of both mobile & PC devices.

Yiannis, might be better off waiting a bit longer since the price of graphic cards will likely chute drop with the decadence of Bitcoin?
