Hi Veber, oddly there's no reply button on your post. Did you click the 'locked' checkbox under options?
Anyway, I would check your task manager first to see how loaded your CPU is when playing. There could be stuff going on in the background that you aren't aware of, programs updating, virus scanning, that sort of thing.
WGTNico - there is a lot of useful tips and links in this thread for people who are having problems with the game, so would it be possible to pin this thread so that it remains near the top rather than slipping down and getting lost in the middle of the section.
