    WildCoast:
Yes I use your resolution picker which I have pinned to my taskbar

Just to be sure Steve, are you using this?

Would something with a keyboard shortcut be less painful where you didn't actually have to pick the resolution?

    Howdy all,

Not sure if this would solve any of your issues but I've been using a sweet little utility for the last few years called "HotKey Resolution Changer".  It runs in the taskbar of my Windows 10 machine and you can assign hotkeys for different screen resolutions and refresh rates.  I change resolutions all the time for various games and this program works great on the fly.  For example, when I run WGT I use the hotkey "Alt+F3" to change my resolution to 1920x1200 at 85Hz.  Then when finished with the game I use "Alt+F1" to go back to my normal desktop resolution of 2560x1440 at 85Hz.  Works like a charm. The version I'm using is "V2.1 (2012-May-16)" so I'm sure if you do a Google search you will find an updated version from a reputable site.

    Stay safe,

    SubX13

Here is a link to a little program that switches the resolution between 1920x1080 and 1024x768 with an ALT + B keyboard shortcut. To exit out of the program use ALT + X or right click the system tray icon and select exit from the menu.

Once downloaded, just double click the file to run the program.

    Resolution Switcher 1920x1080 to 1024x768

If you don't like the resolutions I can change them.

Actually, trying it out again for myself, it looks better if the 1920x1080 resolution has the same height as the 1024x768 resolution, so 768 pixels high for both.

Here's another one for that different resolution, made the width a bit less too...

    Resolution Switcher 1820x768 to 1024x768

Same shortcuts, but don't run both switchers together.

New feature in Chrome 96 :

Want to send a link to someone to a piece of text somewhere on a webpage?

Just select that piece of text, right click within your selection, then select 'Copy link to highlight' from the menu. Now you have a link on your clipboard ready for pasting.

When anyone uses that link, it will take them directly to the text you selected, no matter where it is on the page, and it will also be highlighted.

    😎
