In the ready go list there are TWO tour legend Oakmont 18 hole ready go's for $3,and there is also TWO Merion tour legend ready go's one for $2 and one for $3 and also a Merion  $5  tier less 18 hole ready go, and If that ws not enough, there is also a Merion front 9 and a Merion back 9.  Please WGT, instead of giving us IDENTICAL ready go's why not throw in every ones favorite best of famous or best of hardest instead of repeating the same ready go's. There seems to be too much of the same courses like a St Andrews front for 50c and a St Andrews front for $2.

If you guys have lost the will to give us a thought full list, let some of the players make a list maybe a "guest month" where the winner of this months open gets to choose next months ready go list or something similar?

I've been offering suggestions just for the UEL RGs for several months now, and really appreciate that WGT is willing to take this community input. I consult with other UEL RG players and am open to any input and to act as a filter for ideas.

But I'd really rather not get involved in the flat-lies RGs as well.

Whoever wants to take this on on behalf of the community, I would urge them to actually make concrete suggestions (fleshed out with full course conditions: tees, winds, green speeds, etc). It's so much easier to receive for WGT than 'complaints'!

    Thanks, Corwyn

Edit: just in case anyone's wondering about the tone of my post here... I didn't mean any disrespect. It's bad enough taking the flak for the UEL RGs (and having to come to the defense of their very existence); I just don't want to be in any way responsible for the flat-lie RGs too, lol!

    a thankless job isn't it?:)

my point being, chris, if you want to take that task, then talk to the community & compile a list for me every 3 weeks and I'll do my best to include them in.

Please don't think the ready go list was not appreciated, as i'm not having a go at any one, i enjoy the ready go's each month what ever they are, just pointing out that there are too many identical ones, so we could swap them for a course that is not listed.

But i will make a list too just to add to the collection, the more ideas you have the easier it is to make a list each month.  I'll start off with just tierless ready go's because i dont know how many of the other tier ready go's is needed

Also at present there is 10 tour legend ready go's.  half of these would be more than plenty as no one really plays them  because they just take too long to fill.

Here's a Ready go list all EVEN LIES:

    Best of par 4's full 18 = $10,  (moderate winds) Champ/tournament greens

Best of Famous 18 = $7, Moderate winds, Champ/tournament greens

Cabo 18 holes = $5, Pro tees, high winds, tournament greens

St Andrews 18 holes = $5, Moderate winds, Standard GREENS

Kiawah 18 holes = $4 master tees, high winds, champ greens

    Olympic 18 holes = $3, High Winds, v.fast greens

Best of hardest 18 holes = $3, low winds, tournament greens

    18 holes = $3, master tee,s moderate winds, v.fast greens

Congressional 18 holes = $2 , Moderate winds, standard greens

Bethpage Black 18 holes = $2, High winds, champ greens

Merion 18 holes = $2, Moderate winds Tournament greens

Best of par 5  18 holes = $1 Moderate winds

    oakmont, front 9 = 50c low winds, v.fast greens

Oakmont back 9 = $2 high winds, slow greens

Best of par 3's front 9 = $2 High winds, tournament greens

RSG 18 holes = 50c, moderate winds , fast greens

Best of par 3's back 9 = $1 low winds, champ greens

Whistler back = $1, moderate winds, v.slow greens

Best of famous back = $1, low winds, tournament greens

I think i have a bit of every course covered

I think it's best if you guys get together and come up with a list you want. then send me a msg in priv on the 23-25th of each month and I'll do my best  to make them happen

    Pretty good list.

    Couple of bits of feedback:

    1. Wouldn't do a 50Cr 18 hole. Would keep the 50 Cr to 9 holes. They are marginal from a ball use perspective with 9 holes, at 18 holes makes little sense.

    2. Also on the 50 Cr i would try and include a tru golf course. 50 cr is a small buy in and gives much more people a reason to drop the creds to play 9 holes of those courses, knowing they might get something back, rather than drop whatever it costs just to play them and get nothing out of it

    3. Noticed you went with tee placements. Problem is, with open tier events you really can't dictate tee. Or I don't think you can. I think on open tier events everyone plays from their tees, so if you set the tee box it gives people with better equipment/level/tier an advantage. I think the tee boxes can only be messed with in tiered events, but that is a waste at TL level as no one signs up. Not a bad idea, but just not sure it is possible

    4. I think , from what i have read, people might want a few more 9 holers. There are 6 or so on your list. Maybe a couple higher stakes 9 holers would be nice. Like a  300 or 400 and maybe even a 500.

All and all a good list. Something for most everyone. Really comes down to the lists to follow and keeping things fresh.

Well Done. Just my 2 cents
