Points for water?

  It's happened a couple times now that I, or someone else has hit water in Blitz and on the next hole received 18000 points.  Why is that?

  Seconded.  This has happened multiple times both for and against me.  The Blitz game scoring is seriously buggy.

     I think it`s called a "recovery bonus"...for Not hitting the water or other hazards again, but landing the green after getting soaked :)

     I think it`s a little over-the-top, but it`s to keep a players interest in the game, rather than a dis-connect after such a shot.

  If the experience pts were better.... that wouldnt be a factor at all

  it is experience points, but to me, you are punishing the better player for being consistent.

  Real easy to shank a shot O.B. on the middle holes to pick up 18000 in a close match.  Not the way it should be.
