You talking about the twin boom P- 38 Gary

    Maybe the P51 Mustang

    Perhaps the Consolodated Liberator

    Maybe the P - 41 ?

So many, I think it's the Blue Angels Super Hornet

One stick, two rudder pedals...... That's it

Currently holds the shortest take-off & landing

Bush pilots in Alaska are a breed upon themselves

In 2017, Frank Napp set a new world record, for both takeoff and landing, in a highly modified 1939 Little Piper Cub. In 2018, of Dan Reynolds set a new world record landing in 9 feet 5 inches (2.87 meters), a whole foot (30 cm) shorter than Frank Napp.

Good after morning all, we have a winner! Thank you for having a stab at this one, it wasn't easy, probably more so if you aren't in the UK.

So a very well done to spa75 for working it out. Congrats to you Shane!

The de Havilland Mosquito was a fighter bomber in WW2. It was fast, manoeuvrable and, in my opinion, identifiable by its four nose mounted cannons.
