I know this is a beta game, but come on guys, how about making the swing meter move the same speed all the time. Instead of this herky jerky motion. Average golfers should be able to reach a par four in two strokes and a par 5 in three. After trying all the so called tweaks and upgrading clubs I see no difference in the game.

                                                 Very dissapointed.

I feel the exact same way.  I just bought the very best clubs that you can buy, and I'm playing worse than I was before with the free clubs.  The swing meter should go slower with better clubs.  Why does it go faster?  Also, on the slightest mishit, the ball goes haywire.  Somebody please explain why this is so and what is being done to fix this.

    Hi Guys,

The jerky swing meter - I personaly dont have any issues with the wing meter, but a lot of people do - for some reason. I believe WGT are doing some upgrades to help with that. I think it is to do with your "friends" traffic on the site???

As for the new clubs - just because you bought new clubs doesnt mean you're going to shot the lights out on these courses.

But - with practice you will certainly shave shots off your round. But you will need to practice big time.

The faster swing meter - well, its all checks and balances really isnt it. If everybody could reach every par4 in 2, and every par 5 in 3 then it would be all to easy. If they slow the swing meter down - lets face it, it would be soooooo easy. Right? and no challenge.

I just recently bought just the r9 driver. I've had it for a few days and I am improving with it, yes the swing meter is faster - but you can get use to it.

I just shot 72 at BB, my best round yet - thats only 8 shots back from the very very top players - so - how good is that :-)  Gives me confidence - and I can improve to.

I dont have all the top clubs either. Just the tour starters and the r9 driver.

It can be done, but as I have posted many times previously - its all about practice. You guys have only done about 50 - 100 ranked rounds. The top players have done 700 - 800 ranked rounds + the same or more in practice. So - there it is.

Both you guys rankings are similar to mine PRO mid to high 70's - so you're not far away.

See you on the practice fairways

    Cheers Doug

Sorry guys.. most of the time, the jerky swing meter is on you....

    WGTadmin2:

Swing meter performance is tied directly to the local machine ram usage and cpu usage.  It is true that you can have no connect to WGT's servers and still see  swing meter stutter.  If there is an internet connection or WGT server issue, this would manifest itself as a pause after you have already made your shot and the swing meter action has already completed.  As mentioned above, a few thing WGT can optimize to assist in the swing meter performance is the decrease the memory and cpu usage on your local machine and correcting the invites is one of those steps. Thanks for caring - WGT
